Commitments

Building on its previous financial assistance,
the United Arab Emirates is set to further
consolidate its bilateral ties with Jordan.
After an already substantial disbursement
of AED 1.04 billion (USD 283.8 million) in
2022 for Jordan’s general treasury, the UAE
has demonstrated its unwavering support
by pledging another AED 1.04 billion (USD
283.8 million) for upcoming disbursements.
This renewed commitment is specifically
earmarked for bolstering Jordan’s general
treasury. This substantial financial backing
underscores the UAE’s faith in Jordan’s
fiscal policies and its vision for sustainable
economic development. Such consistent
support also emphasizes the strategic
importance of the Jordan-UAE relationship,
with both nations mutually benefitting from
stability and growth in the region.
