“Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund: the UAE’s leading force in safeguarding
global biodiversity, one species at a time.”

Founded with a focus on global biodiversity and species conservation, the Mohamed bin Zayed
Species Conservation Fund has carved a significant niche as a UAE foreign aid donor in this
specialized field. Since its inception, the Fund has become a beacon of hope for endangered flora
and fauna, aiming to foster effective conservation methods that ensure the survival and well-being
                    of vulnerable species.

Notably, the organization’s commitment is substantiated by its impressive track record; to date,
the Fund has awarded 2,617 grants to support 1,649 distinct species and subspecies around the
globe. These grants echo the Fund’s holistic approach, ensuring that species, regardless of their
popularity or size, are given an equal fighting chance against extinction. As a distinguished foreign
aid donor from the UAE, the Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund continues to inspire,
galvanize action, and make tangible impacts in the realm of species conservation.
