Founded under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Government’s Department of Community
Development in 2008, the Abu Dhabi Center for Sheltering and Humanitarian Care Centre,
commonly known as Ewaa, is a beacon of hope, refuge, and empowerment.

Standing as a testament to the UAE’s dedication to championing human rights and providing
care for the most vulnerable, Ewaa is deeply committed to providing holistic support to victims of
violence and abuse, irrespective of their origin. The organization encapsulates the UAE’s broader
