UAE Support towards SDGs and its Sectors of Assistance
Tuberculosis (TB) control also saw substantial funding, with AED 36.7 million (USD 10.0 million) in grants provided
to Indonesia to help fight TB, a significant health issue in the country with the second-highest incidence of cases
worldwide. The financial assistance from the UAE will support Indonesia’s ambitious goal of eliminating this
infectious disease by 2030, supplementing its national program against tuberculosis.
