The agreement on the Tbilisi Dry Port, a major logistics project located near the capital, Tbilisi, which includes the development of port facilities and integrated logistics services, was signed during the visit of the Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy to the UAE on March 22, 2024.
The project will be implemented by the Emirati company ADP, In cooperation with the Georgian partner Tbilisi Dry Port LLC.
Within the framework of the Georgian delegation’s visit to the country, the priority areas of bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed in the meeting between Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy of Georgia, and Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State for Economic and Commercial Affairs, where the Emirati Minister assessed the investment environment in Georgia.
Positively, he indicated his support for the implementation of investments in various sectors, while praising cooperation in the tourism and aviation market as priority directions.
