As part of the embassy’s strategy to foster academic and research collaboration with Singaporean universities and connect them with their counterpart institutions in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE ambassador met with an academic team from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. The meeting discussed the new master’s program in infectious diseases and emergencies that the school will launch in 2025.
The program will emphasize the exchange of experiences and expertise in managing health crises, equipping participants with skills in management, leadership and community communication for crisis management. The school is keen to enroll Emirati students in the program to enrich the educational experience by drawing on the UAE’s expertise in handling health crises.
