On October 13, 2017, Her Excellency María Luisa Navarro, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Her Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Almansouri, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Panama. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Francisco Torres, Deputy Director of the State Ceremonial Protocol Directorate, and Mr. Sultan Al Taei, Second Secretary of the Diplomatic Mission.
