The UAE Embassy in the Russian Federation, in cooperation with the Jewish Museum and the Tolerance Center in the Russian capital, Moscow, celebrated the International Day of Human Fraternity, which falls on February 4, in conjunction with the Human Fraternity Festival held in the UAE during the period from 4 to 8 February 2021. In his speech to the attendees, His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Ahmad Al-Jaber referred to the efforts made by the UAE and its initiatives to spread the culture of tolerance and coexistence between representatives of different nationalities and religions, to the historic visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the UAE in 2019 and his meeting with the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar In Abu Dhabi, the Human Fraternity Document. Rabbi Alexander Boroda, Director General of the Jewish Museum, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Russia, praised the noble activities of the UAE, represented by the Ministry of Tolerance, in the field of building peace, harmony and respect between different nationalities, noting that the Tolerance Center in Moscow is making great efforts aimed at instilling the principles of tolerance. A brotherhood between representatives of different religions and nationalities in the Russian Federation. During the event, His Excellency the Ambassador presented a letter of thanks to the Director of the Jewish Museum for the efforts made to establish and make this event a success.
