A second medical aid plane, operated by the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, today to address the Covid 19 pandemic in Syria, as part of the UAE's global response to curb the outbreak of the pandemic. The shipment, which was received by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization in the presence of the Chargé d'Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Damascus, Abdul Hakeem Al-Nuaimi, includes 25 tons of medicines, supplies and medical materials for the benefit of thousands of health care workers.
