The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Damascus celebrated, Monday, November 30, 2020, Martyr's Day, to commemorate the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs in defense of the homeland. The ceremony of commemorating the Martyr's Day began with standing in honor of the souls of the martyrs and reverence in front of their sacrifices, and at exactly eleven o'clock and thirty-one minutes, the Chargé d'Affairs of the embassy, Counselor Abdul Hakeem Al-Nuaimi, raised the state flag in accompany with the National anthem, in the presence of Sultan Muhammad Sultan Al Shehhi, Head of Support Services, Consular Affairs and Citizen Services, And a number of embassy employees, while the rest of the employees participated in the ceremony, by standing a minute of silent prayer for the martyrs of the homeland inside their offices.
