On the 16th November 2020, on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Bucharest organized, in collaboration with Bucharest City Hall, a photo exhibition dedicated to the vision of the "Founding Father" of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, well known for his principles of governance based on moderation and tolerance, which have shaped the Emirati nation, during its nearly 49 years of existence. Through the 12 panels placed in Herastrau Park between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., at Charles de Gaulle entrance, the Romanian public was able to view rare photographies depicting the history of the United Arab Emirates, being representative for the commitment of the state to strengthening the values of tolerance, by means of the dialogue between cultures and civilizations.
