The Brazilian government received 12 tons of health materials to combat Covid-19, donated by the United Arab Emirates, through UAEAid. The arrival of supplies, which include masks, rapid tests, gloves and medical clothes, happened in the morning at Brasília Air Base. The plane was received by Saeed Alshehhi, cahrgé d’affairs at the Embassy, and Marcos Degaut, Secretary of Defense Products at the brazilian Ministry of Defense.
According to Alshehhi, "Brazil is one of the pillars of the Emirates' strategy to strengthen relations with South America, acting on several fronts."
