His Excellency Ahmed Al Hameli, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Turkmenistan, met with His Excellency Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, UAE Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency Rashid Meredov greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Administration, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in oil and gas, renewable energy and logistics sectors. At end of the meeting, His Excellency Meredov presented silver award to the Ambassador on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragi, in recognition of Ambassador's efforts in strengthening bilateral relations between the countries.
