To highlight the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in today’s world and its future prospects, the UAE Embassy Abuja organized a webinar forum where key technology experts and government officials from relevant ministries across the UAE and Nigeria exchanged ideas in the development of AI especially in the era of COVID-19. The UAE Ambassador to Nigeria Dr. Fahad Obaid Al Taffaq highlighted the UAE’s milestone achievements and strategies in the AI sector so far, and future plans to further develop the sector. Special guests in attendance included the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence H.E Omar bin Sultan Al Olama and the Nigeria Minister of Communication H.E Isa Pantami. Panelists included the Minister of State for Science and Technology H.E Mohammed Abdullahi, Director, Public Sector Microsoft, Mr. Damola Solanke, the CEO of Voyance HQ, Mr Ebot Tabi and the Date Science/ AI Education and Founder Rise Network Mrs. Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji.
