About this service
The request for (Diplomatic, Consular, International Organizations and Special) ID cards is regarded as residence permits for their holders. The cards must be presented at UAE airports on arrival and departure and must be returned to MoFA by the embassy on final departure from the UAE.
Service process

Register
enter the username and password shared with entities authorized to apply for the service -
Submit an application
fill in the service application form, and attach the required documents -
You will receive a confirmation email

Receiving the request
You will receive an email informing you that the ID card is ready.
Conditions of Use
- The application must be correctly filled
- The mission must ensure that the staff member does not have a valid residence visa on the passport when applying for the card
- Check the passport expiry date to ensure that it does not exceed six months Mandatory Health Insurance: All members of the mission must be covered by the health insurance scheme of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This coverage can be provided either by the mission or the diplomatic ID holder. Notes: 1- Health insurance shall take effect as from the date of arrival in the United Arab Emirates. 2- Financial fines will be imposed on the diplomatic ID holder if they fail to subscribe to the health insurance scheme. 3- To complete the procedures for reducing the value of fines (amounting to 25% of the total fines due for violation, non-subscription or renewal of subscription to health insurance), please check the link below: https://bpmweb.doh.gov.ae/UserManagement/MainPage.html 4- If you have any difficulty in submitting the application, please contact the technical support of the Department of Health- Abu Dhabi via email: support@doh.gov.ae
