The UAE Consulate General in Zanzibar was established on the 20th February 2023. The inaguration event was attended by His Highness Sheikh Shakhbout Bin Nahyan Al-Nahyan -Minister of State of The United Arab Emirates, H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi -President of Zanzibar and Chairman of Revolutionary Council, H.E. Khalifa AlMarzooqi -Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the United Republic of Tanzania and His Honarable Mudrik Ramadhan Soraga, Minister of State President's office,Labour,Economic Affairs and Investiment in Zanzibar. The opening ceremony was held in Zanzibar at Park Hyatt Zanzibar Hotel where The temporary Consulate General of UAE in Zanzibar office is located.
