Her Excellency Fatema Al Mazrouei
Her Excellency Fatima Al Mazrouei was appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Denmark on January 15, 2025. Her Excellency is also currently the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Norway since January 19, 2023.
She was previously the UAE Ambassador in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands from 2017-2022 and was the first female Emirati Ambassador in Denmark.
The UAE Ambassador has served her country as Chargé d’Affaires both in Cairo, Egypt from 2013-2016 and at The Embassy for the United Arab Emirates in Brussels, Belgium from 2010-2013. Her Excellency was the UAE representative in NATO in Brussels, Belgium.
The Ambassador speaks three languages fluently and was Head of Missions Visit to Greenland in 2021 fueling her knowledge and expertise about the Arctic region.
H.E. Al Mazrouei received her bachelor’s degree from Aim Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and her master’s degree in Comparative regional Studies from American University in Washington D.C., USA.
