For school certificates previously issued by the Emirates Schools Establishment and not attested, please apply for the Documents Attestation service through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or its smart application on iOS and Android.
To obtain the attestation service for a new certificate issued by the Emirates Schools Establishment, you can avail MoFA’s digital attestation of when applying for the “Issuance and Attestation of School Certificate Request – Public Education” service through the digital channels of the Emirates Schools Establishment.

You can apply and obtain the service around the clock.

To verify the validity of the certificate, please visit the UAE Pass website and click “verify the document”. Then, you can upload the document and verify its validity.

If you choose to MoFA attestation via the Emirates Schools Establishment’s website:
Fees associated with the issuance of the school certificate by the Emirates Schools Establishment:
1. 15 AED for certificate attestation
2. 15 AED for delivery if a hard copy is requested
Fees associated with the MoFA’s digital attestation:
3. 150 AED for Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation
4. 150 AED for UAE Embassy attestation in the destination country

To obtain MoFA’s attestation or that of UAE embassies abroad, please apply for the Documents Attestation service through MoFA’s website or Smart Mobile App on iOS or Android.

- Please apply for the document attestation service through MoFA’s website or Smart Mobile App for previously issued and unattested birth and death certificates.
- To issue a new birth certificate or death certificate attested by MoFA and the UAE Embassy in the country of destination, you can opt for MoFA’s digital attestation while applying for the certificate issuance through MOHAP’s digital channels, without the need to visit MoFA’s digital service provision channels.
