Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded with the UAE’s top civilian honour during his two day ( August 23-24, 2019) visit to the UAE. PM Modi was awarded the Order of Zayed medal on August 24th by the Abu Dhabi’s crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. PM Modi had been announced as a recipient of the prize in April, days before winning re-election in May this year. During the visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed ways to improve trade and cultural ties between India and the UAE with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
