His Excellency Bakheet Ateeq Al Remaithi, Consul General of the UAE in Karachi, highlighted the climate summit "COP28" which will take place from 30 November to 12 December 2023 in the UAE to find solutions to the climate challenges facing the world beside the challenges facing energy, food & water security, due to the global climate crisis, which also played a role in the unprecedented floods in Pakistan, creating something that can contribute to sustainable development & sharing these strategies & plans with other countries to achieve common goals in addressing the challenges of climate change for a better future which establishes UAE's position as an ideal destination for hosting high-level international events that focus on climate action and sustainable development.
