The UAE Consulate General in Karachi, in coordination with DP World, Karachi & Forest Protection Department, Sindh, implements initiative "Mangrove Trees planting” in the coastal area of Karachi

In conjunction with the "Year of Sustainability" the Consulate General of the UAE in Karachi, launched initiative "Mangrove Trees planting" in coordination with DPWorld, Karachi, Sindh forest Department, H.E Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi, Consul General, planted at coastal area in the presence of Mr. Junaid Zamir, CEO of DP World , representatives of Emirates Airlines, Sindh forest Department, a "Mangrove trees " to combat climate change, raising awareness about environmental sustainability issues and that is further will be discussed at the COP 28 Climate Summit, which will be held in Expo City Dubai during the period from November 30 to December 12, 2023.
