Renew ID Card
About this service
This service allows foreign missions to apply for the renewal of diplomatic, international organizations and special identity cards for employees and their families through the MoFA website. Request renewal of the card within one month before its expiry date.
Service process

Register
enter the username and password shared with entities authorized to apply for the service -
Submit an application
fill in the service application form, and attach the required documents -
You will receive a confirmation email

Receiving the request
You will receive an email informing you that the ID card is ready.
Conditions of Use
- The old card must be handed over to the Diplomats Affairs Department.
- The ID card holder must be inside the UAE, during the modification process.

Required Documents
- An official note signed and sealed by the foreign mission accredited to the UAE
- A recent coloured personal photo with a white background measuring (4*6) (passport)
- A coloured copy of the Passport which must be valid for at least 6 months
- A copy of the ID card issued by mofa
